The purpose of establishing the High-Tech Virtual Reality Integration and Reliability Alliance is to
align with Taiwan’s economic development and interdisciplinary research, aiming to apply key
radiation application and hardness technologies to areas such as space, satellite communications,
the Internet of Vehicles, healthcare, and agriculture. Additionally, it seeks to leverage the
radiation therapy equipment of the NTU Hospital System and proton therapy equipment of NTU Cancer
Center to foster collaboration among experts in related fields.
The alliance's development strategy focuses on integrating the research capabilities and equipment of related departments in radiation applications and hardness technology systems. It aims to engage in interdisciplinary research and exchange, expand innovative and practical radiation application research and development, and provide consultation and technical support for the formulation of radiation hardness policies. The alliance also emphasizes cultivating talent in radiation hardness technologies to accelerate advancements in radiation application research.
