The NTU Radiation Application & Hardness Technology Research Center (RTRC) participated in the 7th
Satellite Science Workshop held on November 28–29, 2025, joining experts from academia, industry,
and government to discuss the latest developments in satellite technology and space applications.
During the event, RTRC Executive Director Prof. Kuen-Yu Tsai was invited as a keynote speaker on
November 29, presenting the center’s advancements in radiation-hardened chip design.
In his talk, Prof. Tsai introduced RTRC’s research progress in radiation-effect characterization,
robust circuit architecture design, laser-based verification methodologies, and the integration of
radiation-tolerant technologies into satellite payloads and space electronic systems. His
presentation attracted significant interest from the workshop participants and sparked active
technical discussions.
By joining this workshop, RTRC not only showcased its strong capabilities in radiation-hardened IC
research but also strengthened collaboration with the broader space-technology community in Taiwan
and abroad. The center remains committed to advancing radiation-resilient electronics and
contributing to the nation’s ongoing development in space science and satellite engineering.
