Professor Tadaaki Nagao from the University of Tsukuba recently came to Taiwan to attend an academic
conference and specially arranged time to visit NTU RTRC. During his visit, he was warmly welcomed
by Professor Jia-Han Li, Deputy Director of the center, who led the RTRC research team in hosting
the exchange.
Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on radiation applications, laser-based verification
platforms, semiconductor reliability, and related cross-disciplinary research topics. The RTRC team
also presented recent advancements in laser testing and CubeSat payload development. Professor Nagao
and the RTRC researchers expressed strong appreciation for each other’s research directions and
technical capabilities, leaving a positive impression on both sides.
This visit not only strengthened academic interaction between Taiwan and Japan in the field of
radiation applications but also established a solid foundation for future international
collaboration led by RTRC.
