On June 8, 2025, members of the Radiation Technology and Radiation Protection Research Center (RTRC) of National Taiwan University visited a heavy ion experimental facility in the United States as part of their academic tour. The heavy ion accelerator simulates extreme radiation environments such as those found in space or nuclear conditions, providing a critical platform for radiation-hardness testing of electronic components and materials. This observation offered RTRC valuable insight into advanced international testing infrastructure and experimental procedures, reinforcing its strategic planning and R&D capabilities in high-reliability components and international collaboration.
